Voted ‘Best Global Club’ the legendary Amnesia is one of the most famous clubs in the world, located in San Rafael which is halfway between Ibiza Town and San Antonio on the main road.

Amnesia was the first club in Ibiza, somewhere inside the club still lurks the magnificent 18th century finca that underwent a multi-million transformation back in the seventies to become the legendary superclub we now know as Amnesia.

One of the secrets to its success lies in the quality of its sound. Today Amnesia has one of the most advanced sound systems (Expanded Amnesia Technology) and here’s for the technical bit “due to the dynamic electronic process. Its function is to analyze and submit frequencies that provoke the human body to feel sensations that compare to having a sound massage!”

Attracting one of the coolest crowds on the island to its Thursday night Cream residency and of course some of the world’s biggest stars, which in the past have included P.Diddy, Leonardo DiCaprio, Dolce & Gabbana, Bono, Naomi Campbell, Elle McPherson and George Michael.

Amnesia is also famous for its Ice Cannons! Those lucky enough to have been to the club, will have stood in the pulsating centre of the Main Room or Terrace blinded by the lights and suddenly felt the temperature drop from 35 degrees to zero as the ice cannons belch out a blast of dry ice. Catch a free bus to Cream @ Amnesia from pre-parties at Bar M & Kanya (San An); Coco’s (Playa D’en Bossa); Coolture (Figurestas) & Bn3 (San An Bay). Plus returns buses to San An & Ibiza.
